In 1973, Livingston Montana resident Paul Pollock discovered the special qualities of this little slice of heaven and built the main house looking south towards Emigrant and Chico Peak.
In 1990 noted Washington DC attorney, Mr. Bob Bennett, and his lovely wife Ellen, took over ownership and built the stunning guest house for the visiting family and friends. Then in 2000, the legacy was passed onto International wildlife artist John Banovich. Banovich’s love of interior design led to a new vision for this iconic property. He passionately orchestrated the extensive remodel of the estate into the property it is today.
RiverTrees is named after the exquisite country inn outside of Arusha, Tanzania on the Usa river where John and his wife Amy were married in 2005. Guests to RiverTrees Estate enjoy an extraordinary art collection.
